Paul Levrier

Paul Levrier is the founder of Visions of Indochina and the main contributing photographer to this site.  Paul has been living and working in Vietnam for the past sixteen years and is employed as the Managing Director of Destination Asia Vietnam and the General Director of Destination Asia Cambodia, one of the Asia region’s leading high end travel management companies. 

By combining his long held profession of travel management in the region with photography and creative design, Paul is able to project the true visual delights of the Indochina region in its sincerest form.  There is simply no other photographer out there that holds such an extensive high quality photographic collection of cultural life in Vietnam in particular.

Although Paul shoots for Destination Asia in other Asia countries (visit www.destination-asia-images.com), it is Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos that holds his concentration and hence, his extensive portfolio is built around Indochina.  As Paul will tell you, his main focus is to record life and times of a region that is undergoing rapid change.  Many scenes and aspects of life will unlikely be around in the near future, hence the emphasis on building a rich and colourful photographic history.

Maintaining the highest visual quality is of paramount importance at Visions of Indochina, hence Paul’s demand for the very finest professional cameras and lenses.  Paul primarily uses a Nikon D3 for fast moving and low light shoots and Nikon D3x for landscape, portrait and architecture.
